Branson's Next Big Thing

The next big thing in Branson is right around the corner. Branson's Alley is the newest attraction. After major renovations are completed along Branson's 76 strip near the Grand Palace, CenterCore Branson Development LLC President Bob Duncan plans to unleash some attractions designed to pull in the younger crowd. The Alley is designed to draw in the under 45 crowd.

Steve Critchfield, CCIM of Commercial 1 Brokers and one of the investors of the project, believes the direction they are heading in is the right one, "We are trying to get in front of the market and appeal to the leading edge of that younger family,” he says. “It will be a place that will be fun to hang out in. The entertainers we have shown it to are excited that there is a really cool stage there for them. It’s in the heart of the entertainment district. The famous Beal Street in Memphis was the initial genesis for the project."

“A location that celebrated our music history along with restaurants, a micro brewery, perhaps a recording studio that would be open to the public ... all offering live music," he continued. “Our hope is the Grand Village/Alley area will become the heartbeat of the entertainment district and will provide experiences day or night for the new generation of visitors who are coming to Branson."

Between the planned brewery and roof top patio, to the more than dozen other businesses with contracts pending, it looks Branson could be in for some positive changes! He said he hopes construction for The Alley will start in the next 18 to 24 months.
